Recipe for dessert tomorrow, dr.update and more

There is always more, right ! LOL. * This picture above was taken last football season as my son's team tired hard to win the Sections championship, Which they so derservingly did ! I was super proud of them. In the picture is a Proud Nana and her oldest Grandson G.

So to begin we had Aj's Dr apt this afternoon. After a two hour wait for this particular specialist we were told that AJ still had not significantly passed the test for the Dr. to be satisfied with the results. Therefore he wants AJ to now have an MRI done. He explained that he is completely puzzled by the results of all three of the past tests AJ has done. He explained how the first two tests had missing results that were completely different from the parts that he missed in today's testing. It was the exact same test. So it is very hard to explain. He did tell me that he is concerned that it is signs of M.S. Multiple Sclerosis which is extremely rare in children of AJ's age. He went on to explain that he hasn't ruled out ANYTHING, so therefore it could be anything. He wants the MRI ordered to make sure there isn't any type of mass pressing on the optic nerve. After this is over I will NEVER ever walk into this optical office ever again. It is poorly managed. Both times we have had an apt we had to wait for over two hours to be seen. It's nonsense. The whole time we were in the office it is pure chaos. Nurse's and office staff running all around trying to keep the clientele quiet from complaining so loud and so on. Mad chaos !

So further update on this after the MRI is done. We are waiting for a date for that first.

Now for the recipe. Tonight my neighbor came over and brought a huge container of Peaches already peeled, seeded, and cooked in a sugar syrup ready to be ate, baked into a goodness of peachy stuff or something ! So as I was pursuing my list of favorite bloggers I came across the wonderful goodness of Tasty Tuesday over at Balancing beauty and bedlam where I clicked the first posting link ! To my sweet surprise it was a link to the Tidymom blog and she had a recipe for exactly what I'm looking for. Well Not exactly but so close I could taste the goodness of those sweet peaches ! Tidymom posted a recipe for Blackberry Cobbler ! I want to make a Peach Cobbler. So Imagine my luck to find this with the very first click. I have never been a cobbler person when thinking of a dessert to make. Usually I tend to go toward a cake, or cookie type dessert. Usually something with Chocolate. Not fruit. So I do not have a go to recipe for a cobbler. Which is why I was so surprised that I found one to use. Of course tidymom here http://tidymomof2.blogspot.com/ has a blackberry cobbler posted and I am going to re post it here on my blog with the substitute of peaches since that is what I have been given and need to use up before they are wasted !

Thanks to Tidymom for making it easy for me to find a go to recipe so easily ! Also if you have time go to http://inpassionatepursuit.blogspot.com/ to pursue the wonderful blog posters recipes that they are sharing this week ! I look forward to this each and every Tuesday. I can not tell you how many wonderful go to recipes that I have copied and used from this great list of bloggers. It's amazing cooking goodness that you will love too.

Peach Cobbler

  2. I hope everything is ok. This is a friendly reminder about tomorrow, it’s “What would your children say?” Wednesday. It would be wonderful to hear the silly and funny things your children say and do. I hope you will participate in the linky party.

  3. Well, the last thing you need added onto this whole deal is extra stress from a poorly managed office. I just had an MRI done for my migraines, and am off to have another in a week or two. Tell him it's easy peasy and I have a tendency to fall asleep while I'm in the tube. :-)

Hang in there, mama. It wasn't right of that doc to scare you so much when he doesn't have any real answers for you yet.
